work name, name and movement

Thank you very much for the detailed explanation. I don't know much about Classic music. I collect only Indian movie songs, which are like 4-5 songs in a movie. Song has Singer(Mapped->Artist), Music Director(Mapped->Composer), Movie Director(Mapped->Albumartist), Lyricist(Mapped->Grouping). I am not sure if I have should have mapped Lyricist to Grouping, considering how this field is organized and displayed. I assumed this was an ordinary field, similar to comment.

Lyricist could be different for all songs in an album. If you have any suggestion, please advise me.

Description(subtitle) is another field that is written/read to audio files for both mp3 and m4a. This is an ordinary field as far as I know. If you are keen on storing additional data, this is another field used in iTunes and also can be edited in MP3TAG(or any other external editors).

Episode and Episode ID is another field supported by iTunes and can be edited external editor, but it is only limited to m4a. This is not supported for mp3 in iTunes. Please report it in bugreport.apple.com. I have done it, already. more people reporting the same, better chance of gaining attention.

Grouping was originally mapped to TIT1, and It was not mapped to any field in MP3 with iTunes 12.5 update. now TIT1 is mapped to "WORK NAME" in iTunes.

This was reported as a bug to apple at bugreport.apple.com. They promptly remapped grouping field to "GRP1", a new field. This was done after the release of mp3tag v2.80. If you read this thread backwards, you will see the full conversation.

mp3tag admin will have to respond, when they intend to update this change.
