Is there any way to modify the &discogs#Release ID &extended script so that it lists track A1 B1....
rather than the 01/04,02/04 format on a release such as this: [http://www.discogs.com/Takuya-Morita-Ryo-M...release/1733577](http://www.discogs.com/Takuya-Morita-Ryo-Murakami-Untitled/release/1733577)

Have a look at my mod to modify the output. E.g.:
DISCOGS~TRACK\_ONLY FOR VINYL & CASSETTES: POSITION AS ON RELEASE PAGE = track
to have A1, B1 only on vinyl & cassette releases while other releases keep the standard number system.

Yeah, but unfortunately that puts A1, A2... after the track title rather than in the track number field like the other script I was using, I was trying to avoid this, as is its quicker to manually edit the Track field from 01/04 to A1 than editing A1 off the end of the title field as I have been doing, thinking it was a problem on Discogs end.

Could this script be modified to read 01,03,03... rather than 01/11,02/11,03/11?

Hi!

When I use the Discogs Search by Album + Title,
in the Adjust Tag Information window,
the Track tab also shows the total number of tracks (for example: 01/04).
Is there a way to avoid this? So the tracknumber tagged won't have the xx/xx format?

Another thing I've come across is with compilations,
the artists & titles are divided by a "/" instead of a "-" like I was used to.

Hopefully someone knows a fix for these issues.
I've just done a fresh install of the program on a new computer,
so it might be just a setting I've missed.

Thanks!

- Please give examples from compilations with "/"

- If you don't want total track numbers then please find this code part in the script:

# TRACK FIX: DISCOGS~TRACK NUMBER WITH LEADING ZEROS / TOTALTRACKS

outputto "title"
sayoutput "tracks"
**#** outputto "track"
**#** sayoutput "discogs pone track zero / totaltracks temp"
set "discogs pone track zero / totaltracks temp"

and add # signs at the beginning of the 2 lines (as in this example)

Du musst die Album URL gleich am Anfang ändern. Und zwar so:

[AlbumUrl]=[http://api.discogs.com/release/%s?f=xml](http://api.discogs.com/release/%25s?f=xml)

Hallo Dano,

ich nutze Dein Release ID extended Skript und muß nun leider feststellen, daß es nicht mehr funktioniert. Freue mich daher schon auf ein Update!

hello,
thanks a lot for the quick update.
i use the 'release id extended' search.
but since the latest update i get no vinyl trackpositions (A1, A2, A3, B1, B2, ...) anymore.
is there an easy solution for this issue?
many thanks in advance!
all the best,
timo
