Does anyone have an idea on how to fix this issue?

Having the same problem here. The tag field specified by "Format (complete): \>" in the script.. As the other user has said..

**instead of** :
CD, Album, Deluxe Edition

**now we get** :
CD, Album,, "Deluxe Edition", Deluxe Edition,

the error presents itself in the same "format" every time. If you look at the format how it is on Discogs webpage, add an extra comma, place quotes around the last entry, and then repeat the last entry without quotes, and then add one more comma at the end.

Discogs must have changed something in their API, so now this is occurring as a result.
Any ideas, Pone?

Thanks for offering some insight into how and why the design is what it is.

Whilst technically excellent, such points you mention for design amend would put icing on the cake 🙂

There are some severe design issues in discogs.

1. No relation between format (Disc) and tracks.
2. Track position contains merged/encoded information of various element info: disc type, disc number, disc side, disc track number and subtrack. Vinyl/cassette numbering (A,B,C...AA,AB..., etc) belongs to "encoded" category.
3. Subtracks. Majority of subtracks have no clear relation to main track. Because of design, API would have bad time to find out which is the last subtrack of a normal track.
4. Section title. It is not clear which section it applies to.

When I use Discogs Pone# Standard Search and the name of the artist or albumtitle includes anything like . , : ' - , an error will occur [Error connecting to server: [www.discogs.com](http://www.discogs.com) \>\> Unauthorized (401], retrying will give the same result.
I'm using the Discogs Pone 4.4 from june with some small changes to the script.

Ah thanks for the link!
Changed the .scr file
**[Encoding]=url-utf-8** into **[Encoding]=utf-8**
I didn't have to change the wordseperator. That already said **%20**

Still bugs on commas though.
But dots are ok now.

I'm also having troubles with pone mod lately.

I did various searches. Album artist + album, List artist releases, Artist + Label, Album + Label, Label + Catalog, ... None gave me the result I looked for: "Donkey Rollers ‎– Silver Bullet / We Are 1"

All kinds of errors. _Sorry, no entires are matching your criteria_ to _Error connecting to server: [www.discogs.com](http://www.discogs.com) \>\> Unauthorized (401)_

This is the release I was looking for:

ONLY thing that worked was searching by Direct Discogs ID.

I then repeated the search with the same phrase "Donkey Rollers ‎– Silver Bullet / We Are 1" with the default discogs.src file and it worked on the first try.

What is the problem here?

Edit: To clarify, it's not only this release that gives me troubles. Almost every release does.

This is driving me crazy, I've followed the instructions through about 5 times now and everytime I'm getting the same result.

When I search for an Artist or Album (through the Discogs pone section),I find the track I'm looking for in the search bar, but once I select it, the following appears:

This is extremely frustrating as none of the information is being shown on the tag, thus making the script redundant for me at the moment.

I really hope someone can point out what I'm doing wrong, thanks 🙂

I suggest you play first with official 'discogs' script.
I think the last release changed words **e** perator to wordsep **a** rator. Cannot confirm now as I'm not in front of computer.

Thanks for the reply, I've been using the original Discogs feature, but 80% of the tracks or albums I search for do not appear, despite them being present on discogs. This is the reason that brought me to this script, but as I can't seem to get it working - I cant use either at the moment.

Ok.
Can you list some searches you are not able to get results from? I will check in my pc and come back to you.
The more detailed the better.
It could be useful for others too.

Well the image I attached above showed a track called "Sushi" by 7Skies, which wasn't found - yet is active on discogs. - [http://www.discogs.com/7-Skies-Sushi/release/2407065](http://www.discogs.com/7-Skies-Sushi/release/2407065)

Moreover, most tracks I have in my collection are indeed on discogs, yet do not show in the search option. More examples include:

However, the frustration comes as these **do appear** when I search for them within the Pone script, yet they contain no information when I select them - as shown in the above screenshot posted yesterday.

Hope this can be sorted, thanks 🙂

Hi again.
I think your problem comes because of releases with file tracks.
Pone's script (artist+album) gives the correct result.
I suggest you use Pone's script with default settings (backup your settings first, copy mp3 file provided from Pone's script, it should be placed somewhere in folder %appdata%/mp3tag).

Mp3tag Discogs script, searches by album title only (more precisely the release title). If you search with combined fields (e.g. artist albumtitle) you won't get any results.
If you search with 'Around The World' you still won't see your release (Arty) because it is not in the first page of the results. There are 37 pages with such albums.
Mp3tag does not yet offer a way to support multiple pages. You have to know the parameter and pass it to the script search text (e.g. &page=2).

I don't know.
AFAI understand a cache is that it stores a the images once they a re opened. If there is a day on which the quota has been reached then now further images can be added ...
