# \[X\] Created Date Column sorts items as text

The Created Date column sorts items as text and not as dates. Meaning that 28-08-2007 will appear lower in the list than 29-05-2007.

What are the properties of the column? (right click on column header)

Value is %\_file\_create\_date%

Numeric off. It does not make a difference if it is turned on.

You must add %\_file\_create\_datetime\_raw% in Sort by field and tick Numeric.
