# \[X\] Exporting BB Code

Hello,
I've been using MP3Tags for a couple weeks now and like it alot. But, I'm having a problem getting BB Code to export properly.
When the file exports, the BB Code disappears. I'm thinking the problem is with [brackets]. If I take the brackets out and just leave the text, it exports just fine, but then I have to go back and manually type in the []. Since I'm exporting as a .txt file, there shouldn't be a problem.
Is there some way to get around this?
I'm enclosing the content of the MTE file so you get an ideal of what I mean.

You must write '[' and ']' because brackets have a special function.

Likewise be sure to quote around $ % and \ and quote before ' to avoid baffling false results.

I recall naked backslash sometimes going loopy. I could be wrong! If you're sure it is always allowed, please do correct me.

That worked out just fine. I tried everything I could think of for a couple of days, but now I'm getting the results I wanted.
