# \[X\] Files not resized when removing cover arts

Hello! 🙂
I found one very nasty problem: when removing cover arts embedded in an audio files (FLACs, MP3s), MP3Tag does not resize the file (as it does when embeds artworks in files). When removing an artwrork, MP3Tag shoud make the file smaller - e.g. if an audio file is 26.4 MB and the embedded artwork in it is 400 KB, when you remove it, the file should become 400 KB smaller.
It will be very good if this issue is fixed.

See this thread on how to remove padding from FLAC files:

(btw: no bug!)
Other padding depends on the HD cluster size so that you cannot simply subtract the cover size from the audio file size.
In any case: this is no bug. But you can file a feature request.
