# \[X\] Some ID3v2 are not recognized by Mp3tag

Mp3tag does not see ID3v2 tags in mp3s like [this one (3.6MB)](http://www.soop.ca/bootie/bestofbootie2006/02%20-%20DJ%20Moule%20-%20Black%20Sabotage.mp3)
Even though the file seems to have ID3v2 tag prefix and even a cover art.
No errors in the log, nothing. Files are just shown as if they had ID3v1 tags only.
Unfortunately I cannot run latest dev. build on my W2K. So I was only able to test it with Mp3tag 2.39c
(I've read through changelog of the following versions but haven't spotted any related fixes)

File has an invalid frame name (????) which seems to stop the parsing.
You can open the file in a HEX editor and replace the four question marks after "Mashup" with TCMP
