# \[X\] Switching away ceased Read Tag status update

When during a long Read Tag I switch away from the app and then back, the status bar count of files processed is frozen.

Why should Mp3tag constantly update the status bar while the status is changing every \<1s? I think it's okay to have the status bar show the correct values after the read operation is finished.

Pass. But since it updates periodically before the switch-away, I think it should continue after the switch back. It makes no sense for it to freeze just because the user went to another app and back.
