# \[X\] two-line paste into filelist field loses second line

With a two-line clip, Pasting into a filelist field loses the second line e.g.

1 Double-click an two-line field value  
2 CTRL+V, CTRL-C  
3 See that the second line is lost.

This is how the file list works. If you want to edit fields containing line breaks I suggest using the extended tag dialog.

Yup, that's what I'm reporting. 😉

Good workaround... except here in the example given the filelist doesn't let me see whether there are linebreaks until lines are lost.

Meanwhile I think the loss of user data by the direct edit method should be fixed.
