# \[X\] "What's new is shown everytime the tool is started

Dear all,  
Am I the only one that has the "feature" that the what's new html page is started **everytime** the tool is started on windows 8.1?  
I remember on XP and Windows 7 it is only shown at first start after updating the tool to a newer version.

Known bug? New Bug? Feature?

The information about the first-time launch is stored in the cfg-file. As soon as you get rid of the access denied error from thread  
[[X] Access denied Error when closing the tool on Windows 8.1](https://community.mp3tag.de/t/15955/2)  
you will not have this behaviour any more.

Fixed.. Was not the Roaming folder.. was the cfg file in the installation directory and the access rights there..
