I'm using MusicBrainz for tag and cover art import. Direct import doesn't work for either tags or album art. It just does nothing.
If I select "save album art to the folder", it saves it there, so the import somehow works. If I try to add album art by right click on the blank album art and then adding it this way, the album art shows up under the directory and is visible. If I click save icon, it disappear and doesn't save.
Is this a new installation?
Could you check your settings to read read tags (Ctrl-O > Tags>Mpeg) and see whether you have APE tags in the files?
If you read APE tags but do not write them, then you see the still unmodified APE tags.
No, it's not. But you are 100% right. For whatever reason, the v2.3 tag was not checked for Write. Thank you.
