Select all tracks with Ctrl-A. Then click on any field in the Tag Panel and the track highlighting disappears. It is possible to get the highlighting to reappear by moving the vertical scroll bar and I would recommended this before any manual Save operation. For example, when using the 'Add Cover' option for album covers if the vertical scroll bar is not used to restore the highlighting of the selected tracks then the Save operation does not appear to work properly for the album cover.
Windows 10 Dark Mode is the default on my computer so I do not know if the above problems affect non-Dark Mode users.
