I am getting the following error:

.\mtdirectoryreader.cpp

This is when opening 50k files which hasn't been a problem previously, though I have added cover art to a lot of files recently. Would this increase memory requirements?

I have noticed after the crash that virtual memory usage is around 2GB but I have set a 4GB swap file and have 1.5GB ram. Also happens with v2.39

This happens very likely due to not enough memory being available anymore since embedded cover art also needs to get copied into the memory.

The current Development Build gives an error message in situations where not enough memory is available.
