Similar to this fixed 2019 issue, since updating from v3.26 to v3.27, the iTunes ITUNNORM and ITUNSMPB tags are no longer shown in the extended tags window.
They're also removed when making other changes to tags - luckily I did have backups!

I just created COMMENT ITUNNORM in this file and edited a number of other fields ...
and the field COMMENT ITUNNORM is still there, even after repeated opening, editing and closing the file.
Sorry, I should’ve been more specific - this seems to be an issue only with .m4a (MP4) files. COMMENT ITUNNORM is the MP3 equivalent and still works fine for MP3s.

Yep, looks like it’s fixed with v3.27a. Tried tag editing, removal, and creation and everything worked well. Thank you for the speedy fix!
