Hello Florian,

Wonderful piece of software you have crafted here. I have one small question for you. If I download the freedb database, can I still use it with mp3tag? Under the freedb menu, there is an option to "create local index" is that what I need? When I click on it, I get the message - directory "" could not be found.

I want to download the database so that I can tag my MP3's when I'm not on the internet. This is possible I take it?

I did a bit of searching around to see if anyone else had this question - so I'm sorry if you've answered it already.

Yes you can.
Basicly you have to tell mp3tag the path to your local DB in "tools->options->freedb->local".
