The beatgrids are gone in the files that have been affected by an action group.
I'm using MP3Tag for Mac 1.8.22 (105) and Serato DJ Pro 3.1.3 on a Mac Mini M2 base model.
I've got no explanation for this behaviour, but perhaps some people on this forum might be able to provide some insight into this issue. It's as if all fields were affected by the actions, and not only the comment field.
I was thinking the same. But this time I haven't applied the action to all the fields (thus messing up the beatgrid tag in Serato), but only to the comment field.
What I can try is check with a new, downloaded MP4 (one that could not possibly have been affected by the similar issue from my previous topic) and a new MP3 to rule some things out.
Yep, I'm afraid it is related to my previous disaster : )
Now, fortunately I have a backup so everything is back to normal, but now I'm afraid to apply any more actions on my video files. It seems a substantial part of my MP4 collection loses the beatgrid as soon as I use the actions in MP3Tag.
It's by accident that I see which files are still having issues (after using actions in MP3Tag).
I wish I could detect them in advance, to see which ones need to be downloaded again.
Is there a way to have all tags (extended too), like beatgrid, copied over in MP3Tag, even if one has to do it manually, one file at a time?
