hi,

i wondering i have an action called style with two format values strings of hip hop and rock within it. is there a way i can choose these format strings under the style action when i need them or do i have to use separate actions. i'm trying set theses type of strings under one action. Thanks Dp

So you could have a menu enty "Style" with the submenu branches "Hip hop" and "rock":
Name of the 2 actions:
Style#Hip Hop
Style#rock

It is still not possible to stop an action so that the user can select a value during execution.

So would i place the submenus inside the style action and the fromat strings inside the submenus. i'm a little confuse on setting up the submenus. i did read the doc that you sent, just don't undstand it.

How have you selected functions from a submenu until now?

You get a suggestion and then you tell as thorough as possible what you do with that suggestion.
I cannot look over your shoulder from the distance. And as I don't see it, you have to describe it.
Besides the link to the documentation you also got an example. I do not feel like telling it again.
So, please tell me where you think a name of an action is applicable and what result you got.

Name of the 2 actions:

(groups - as an action group is the only item that you can give an individual NAME)
I am pretty sure that you have created named actions before like e.g. here:

[Screenshot (3)] ok i know i've been told how to do this but everything i have try isn't working. i like to have the country added into the tag but don't the correct action format to get this done. my action is format value field _directory string %dummy% - %Country% i know country is a field value. so what is the correct action to set this up please? i have this on and old pc but now trying setup on a new one, Thank You

No. I did not write anything about a format string. I said that you have to create 2 action (groups) with the

and as you can set a name only for action groups, it should be clear how to name the action groups.
