Add cover art album option with ffmpeg

I would like to know the commands that the mp3tag uses when we click on the ADD cover option...

where can I see what command is used in this action?

have a look at the help and the action:
Adjust cover
Import cover from file
Set cover properties

Functions that involve the clipboard are not available as action.

OK... is that I'm creating a batch file, using ffmpeg, to add cover art in mkv file, but it is added to the file as a video stream. I tested it with MP3TAG, and the cover art is added as an image without generating a video, which is exactly what I'm looking for!

You know the ffmpeg language... could you help me?!
