As per the title:
I was adding tags and embedding a cover to an album, and after finishing I found VLC wouldn't load the album art. I then trial-and-errored my way through putting a "cover.jpg" of the image in the folder, removing all tags and adding them back one at a time. Eventually I found that only on adding the album's name and saving the change, VLC would no longer display the album art. I tested this in the same folder with the same files, both album-named and left blank, and only the blank album-named files would display the album art.
This happens every time without fail thus far, and i'm at a loss as to why. I've edited similar files with all tags added/changed and had no issues. Clearly the files themselves aren't corrupted fully - they still play and can still display properly without an album name - but I'm unsure what could be wrong at this point. Any help is greatly appreciated!
