Album Art Script

Goood Day all.

I have been Collecting Music from my friends for over a year now.
and I need help getting something done.

Albums that i got, have the Album Art/ cover in the MP3
I want to extract them all from the MP3 and Save the art work (PNG/JPG) into the folder with a Script and have the Album art (png/jpg) saved from tag's of the MP3

Eg.

I want the AlbumArt to be extracted from the MP3 and renamed o the yeat & titel of album " %Year% - %Album% "

How do i get this done?

Hi,

thanks a lot! - It works quiet perfect!

I tagt my mp3's with more than one cover if available and changed the cover-type (right-click on the cover):

front, back, media and leaflet

When i export the covers, there are named like
%artist% - %year% - %album%.jpg
%artist% - %year% - %album%(1).jpg
%artist% - %year% - %album%(2).jpg
and so on...

But i would like to have them like
%artist% - %year% - %album% - Front.jpg
%artist% - %year% - %album% - Back.jpg
%artist% - %year% - %album% - Media.jpg
%artist% - %year% - %album% - Leaflet.jpg

Simply automatic renaming of the pictures doesn't work, because i don't have all covers. Thats why, if the back cover is missed, the media cover is nr. 2.

Is there any way, to nominate the cover like the covertype?
