Albums playing alphabetical instead of track order

hello all i am using mi music app because I have a redmi note 10 pro and it is the default app but some albums I have don't seem to be playing in the correct order they play in alphabetical order instead anyway to fix this as I want to play the music in track order and not alphabetical order

An answer would be easier, if you told us which tag fields you have filled in your files.
Or: check whether there is data in ALBUMARTIST, ALBUM, ARTIST, TITLE, TRACK.
Anything short of that list may lead to unwanted results.

i will show you next time I am on my computer and download the programme

Thank you.
The tags look (really) fine to me.
So it is a player problem - you would have to dig into the features of your player and see how to get it to play in the order you prefer.

If the standard app on your phone does not offer the features, why not try Foobar2000 for Android?

okay do you want me to screenshot all of the albums

Not really - as that probably would not reveal anything more about the tags. As the tags seem to fine, it is a question about the player's functions..
You would have to go through the menus of your player and see which orders it allows.
And again: if there is nothing on offer that suits your needs, it may be that the player is not the best for your requirements. An alternative would be e.g. Foobar2000 which allows to play album by album or even create playlists.

some say disc number blank

If you think that a filled discnumber would get the player to get the order right, then fill it, e.g. like that:
Filter for files without discnumber:
%discnumber% MISSING

Then use Convert>Tag-Tag for DISCNUMBER
Format string: 1

I doubt that this will make a change.

i don’t know what i am doing

You could test with a copy of an album whether a change if the tag-type (ID3v2.3 instead of ID3v2.4( makes any difference.

For this you have to change in the options Tags-> MPEG

Mark all files and save them again.

already like this what do i change

There are plenty of better music player options for mobile devices. Some examples are listed below.

For Android - Foobar (beta, free), GoneMad (paid), Musicolet (paid), Neutron (paid), Poweramp (paid)
For iOS - Foobar (beta, free), BTR Amp (paid), Neutron (paid)

Bottom line, the included music player on most phones is "functional" but not great. For a premium experience you may want to consider an app purpose-built for music.

i am using musicolet as a backup

To change the tag-type of the files you have to mark them and save.

Sorry. I had the screenshot of another thread in mind, that showed ID3v2.4.

And how does this play and appear when using Musicolet?

it shows them in album order

So? Problem solved? Please be a little more elaborate.

sorry i’m not very good at these things

i wonder why they load in order on Musicolet but for some on Mi Music
