all files in Mp3Tag are displayed with completely empty tag fields

Hello,

I upgraded from M2 to M4, and after reinstalling under macOS Tahoe, I’m encountering the problem that all files in Mp3Tag are displayed with completely empty tag fields. However, as soon as I rewrite them or convert them from the filename, the tags reappear and remain saved.

Why are the fields empty? Does anyone know about this issue?

please check whether your files have APE tags and you also read them (see the options for this).
If so, please switch off reading APE tags and load the files again to see whether the tag data has reappeared.
