I am trying to process a somewhat big number of files, about 250,000. After processing anywhere between 30 and 40 K files the tagger throws an out of memory error and quits. The same thing happens with a different folder that only has 50k files.
I am running WIn10, 32 gigs of RAM, all files are indexed by Windows.
MP3tag cannot access any amount of files as the 32-bit application has a limited address space of about 3.5 GB.
You can increase the number of files that can be loaded before the memory limit is reached if you switch on the library.
See File>Options>Library
I am always using the most current build.
I couldn't figure out the library option, to be honest.
