Application stall with mapped drive on Windows 10

I've been noticing for a while that mp3tag will randomly hang when working with a mapped drive on my Win10 workstation.

It does come back but will hang for a few seconds randomly and other times work without issue.

It's accessing a shared folder from a Macbook running Big Sur mapped on my Windows 10 studio PC.

The systems are all on a wired gigabit network.

Do you observe this only with MP3tag or have you other, siimilar applications that access comparable amounts of data via network?
If MP3tag access files, it relies mainly on the OS functions. So if the underlying OS functions do not answer, MP3tag cannot proceed.

I will have to observe and see what is going on next time it happens.
