Algoriddim has not acknowledged that there might be a challenge with djay Pro properly interpreting / displaying WAV meta data on the Windows platform.
It seems my options are either to convert my thousands of WAV files to FLAC, which would require me to reanalyze and remap all of my hot cues on each file - or - to look for other DJ software to use. I’ve been a Serato Pro user for over 15 years and a djay Pro user for about three years.
If anyone reading this discussion can suggest DJ software that has the superior beatgridding and stems of djay Pro combined with the superior library and WAV meta handling of Serato, please let me know about it. (And I’m referring to Windows software.)
