Artist data suitable for Windows 11 Media Player

Hi,

Anyone know how to address "unknown artist" issue in win11 MP?
Have downloaded and installed MP3tag
There's artist info in 95% of the tracks
Album Artist data is missing
Is this the field that WMP11 uses? Is there a way to fill that field from Artist?

Any tips gratefully received

Seems this is a common issue with this player.

Some questions there surround the settings to automatically search for info (may be fixed by disabling this option) and file types (wav doesn’t seem to have wide support for tags).

There are several other choices for players and managers on Windows. If this one doesn’t work for you, I would consider something like Foobar2000 or MusicBee as a (better) alternative.
