I would like Mp3tag to auto-delete any non-standard fields (ones that media players don't often recognise). Is there a way to do this so only track, artist, band, title etc only get kept in the tags? Maybe there's a filter I can apply to auto-delete a certain field when saving tags.
Please let me know if this is possible, since it will save me time (currently have to manually take them out in extended section).
Create an Action Group with a single 'Remove fields except' action. Enter all of the fields that you want to keep, separated by semicolons.
Thanks. I have got it to work but I am unsure of what the field name is for the cover? I tried "cover" but it still removes it when I apply this action. Maybe it has a different name because you can get different types, such as front cover (the only one I want left).
