Auto numbering problem

Greetings,

I have a large folder of songs.
I run auto numbering wizard and then convert tag to file name.
Both operations are successful but when i look in windows explorer i have files with duplicate numbers.
I have deleted and nw lost a whole number of files trying to get this to work.
Please can someone help me?

Bug: yes, but not in MP3tag.
For some inexplicable reason the Windows explorer interprets 3-digit-numbers as octal values.

I am creating a set of audio files with 3 digit track numbers in the file names. mp3tag creates ID3v2.3 tags with a track of 028, 029, 030, 031 etc. However, when I view these resulting tagged files in Windows Explorer and Windows Media Player the above track numbers are shown as 28, 29, 24, 25. So you deleted files because only of the identical tracknummer?

Personally, I have never experienced this problem with the Windows Explorer.
That is probably because I assigned my track numbers according to the scheme "001/200" (TRACK / TOTALTRACKS).
