Auto-Refresh List after moving files

I saw there was an old post about this, but I have been experiencing this bug for awhile now.

Everytime, I move files I have to manually refresh the list.

Can you describe the bug?

When I move files on the Windows version it will automatically remove those entries from the list after the move.

On the Mac version it’s leaving the entries that have been moved and I have to manually refresh the list to remove them.

It's not a bug, but a feature of the macOS version. If you have the Path column enabled, you'll notice that it shows the path the files have been moved to.

Because the moved files are still selected after moving, you can simply press ⌫ to remove them from the list.

This is pretty the same as pressing cmd + R to refresh the view. It’s just tedious to have to do an extra key press everytime I move files.

Whereas on the windows version after it moves the files they’re removed automatically from the list.

No, not if you're working with a large set of files. Removing the files is instant, whereas reloading the list actually re-reads the files.

OK, your suggestion is noted.

Thanks for responding. Cheers!
