Best Practices for Tagging Comedy Skits?

I am currently tagging a comedy album with some sketches/skits that have "musical underscoring". What are considered to be the best practices for tagging these sorts of tracks? I am currently tagging them as follows:

Title: Another Nugget of Joy From Zorak (Skit)
Artist: George Lowe and C. Martin Croker (the spoken vocal performers for the skit)
Involvedpeople Tag: Writer: Cartoon Planet (the original sketch writers)
Album Artist: The Cartoon Planet Band (credited in the liner notes as "all music performed by")
Album: Space Ghost's Musical Bar-B-Que
Composer: Terry Adams (who is credited for musical underscoring for the skits/sketches)

Thanks in advance for your assistance with this!

Your tag list looks fine to me but guides for tagging genres are rare. In part that is because of differing player support but also because people use their tags in many different ways. So what is "best practice" for me might not be for you. In addition, file formats often differ in what tags they support, which can limit your tag options.

Sound archives also vary in the details that they show. The screenshot below is a comedy LP listing from the US Library of Congress (LOC), showing ten fields. Some of those you probably won't need and some could be renamed to equivalent Mp3tag-supported tag names.

You can browse more LOC recordings here.

You may also want to review the fields available at online music resources like Discogs.

The flexibility of Mp3tag will be a big help. As your requirements evolve, it's easy to update your files with new or renamed tags and/or tag content.
