I'm not sure if this is what you're looking for, but I'll give it a try:
With Mp3tag v3.31f, you can select all files from an album and from the next album.
First, sort the File List by Track#, then by Album to bring the files in the correct order.
Next, select the first file and use Edit → Select similar files or press CtrlG to select all files of the album. Process them via Tag Sources.
To select the files of the next album use Edit → Select next similar files or press CtrlShiftG. Process them via Tag Sources.
