As the title says I was wondering if there was a way to make a shortcut to some of the actions, I have scripted. Having to open the menu, untick the one(s) that were used before, tick the one I want and then click OK seems a bit cumbersome....?
No, using the toolbar item 
or keyboard shortcut [Alt+5] is the only way to run actions.
