Can I create a list in the Comments Field

I would like to use the comments field to help tag my music
And I want to create a list within this of genres etc
I cant figure out how to do this

I have a genres.ini file in the config folder that I thought i could use for Genres BUT it does not seem to populate the genres field

im running 3.27A

Yes.

You can use the Manage-Button (#4) for your custom list values

for every Tag Panel field:

Every field on the Tag Panel can have custom values added to its drop-down list.

(I don't see what would be the advantage of custom list values for fields like TRACK or UNSYNCEDLYRICS for example. But technically, it is possible).
