Can Mp3tag edit files being played with foobar?

This is the message popped out by Mp3tag when trying the above:

This is, of course, understandable. However, I really wish it could be work around somehow. I frequently want to edit tags of files which I'm currently listening to and currently there is no way to do it other than stopping playback. I remember Winamp was not causing any problems in that matter. Maybe there is solution on either foobar/Mp3tag side?

For mp3tag to edit a file that is "locked" by another program (foobar),
the other program has to "unlock" the file so it can be edited by Mp3tag.

This "unlocking" can't be influenced in anyway by Mp3tag

So you better ask this question in a forum designated for Foobar.
