On Win 10 Pro, using Mp3tag v3.00, have tried a few times to cancel loading a large number of files and gotten a crash. Program freezes and won't respond. Have to force close. I don't recall this issue on past versions. Thanks.

Thanks, that could be it. Not sure I can tell Windows Defender to "ignore" Mp3tag, though. I'll try to avoid the situation.

Everything is fine in Windows 8. No crash after cancelling the loading of files.
Edit: tested on Windows 10: same result, no problem.

Did you see the threads about a very active Defender?
