Cannot Change Album Art.!

Driving me crazy... I have eight tracks:

mp3Tag.Cover 0
mp3Tag.Cover 01042×434 133 KB

first four have the correct art (it's a box set, so they have the correct art for the particular disc, CD3):

mp3Tag.Cover 1
mp3Tag.Cover 1672×728 107 KB

the second four have the generic artwork for the box set:

mp3Tag.Cover 2
mp3Tag.Cover 2660×744 93.6 KB

So, copy and paste the correct artwork into the last four, right? Artwork gets pasted, appears in the Cover Art square, hit Cmd-S, files get written, progress bar, great. But, as soon as the progress bar finishes, it reverts to the generic cover art... no error message, nothing. Any ideas what's going on here..?

Do you ask for the Mac version of Mp3tag?

Yes, sorry, I thought 'Cmd-S' would have made that clear ;0) I am, Indeed, asking about the Mac version...

The first set of pictures is png and the second jpeg format.
Check how many pictures are now in the files: 1 or 2 or more?
Delete the superfluous ones.

Aaah... right. Didn't know you could have more than one piece of artwork per album...
