So sometimes, when I'm saving changes, this error pops up and it's annoying because I have to reset my PC before it lets me to change details again a few times, and then this happens again. (Btw sorry for my English).

there are so many threads in this forum about the message that files cannot be opened for writing - could you please use the search function and go through the existing threads?
The reason could be invalid file format, simultaneous access of different programs, windows defender interacting, insufficient access rights and many more.
If you have to reset the PC it could be that you have a deadlock of various programs that access the file at the same time.
But you can find that out only locally.
Alr, I'll check if those work, thanks.
So I've tried downloading programs to check processes, and it seemed like spotify used the audios, so I closed spotify with the Task manager and the error disappeared, but it reappeared after some minutes. I've seen something about antivirus accessing to the files, so I disabled McAfee and it didn't fix anything. Any suggestions?
Which other programs are open while you modify files?
Do you have the files in a folder that gets synchonized with the cloud?
Have you checked the files for errors?
Does this happen always to the same files?
Where are the files located? On a NAS?
My files are in my Pc SSD, and I have Voicemeeter, Spotify and the file explorer opened while using mp3tag. I don't think they're corrupt because it happens suddenly. If I restart my pc I can modify them, but some minutes after, the error occurs again.
You could try it with the free tool
"Process-Explorer"
This should help you to find the tool, app or service accessing your files.
That looks to me even more that some other program accesses the files at the same time.
But I cannot help you with this as this would be a completely local thing.
Process Explorer is a good tool to find out who else is interested in the file (as @LyricsLover linked already)
Alr, I'll try that program.
If "Process Explorer" can't reveal the reason, there would be another tool:
"Process Monitor"
Here is how it works:
I've tried Procmon before, but one step requires to select a log file (which I don't have) anyway, I tried putting the filter and there wasn't any program.
And in this state: do you still get the error?
You don't need a log file. Just start "Process Monitor", add a Filter to your path with your mp3 files and start capturing all the accessing tools/software for your filtered path.
Yes, the error still appears.
Alright, I'll chexk with Procmon and the other program you suggested, I'll post the results later.
Alr so nothing appears in Process Explorer, but Procmon says Explorer.exe is using the file, which I guess it's normal because it's the explorer. Could that be interfering?
Turns out I searched incorrectly in Process Explorer, I tried again and Voicemeeter appeared. I closed it and it let me change the tags. That was the problem. It is solved! Thank you all so much for your help.
Thank you for your feedback.
Maybe you can describe in your words - for future readers - how you have found "Voicemeeter" as interfering software in Process Explorer?
In ProcessExplorer, I clicked on the magnifying glass in the toolbar and wrote the name of the file I wanted to check. Then voicemeeter appeared.
