Can't create action because MTA file will not write

I have tried 3 times to create a new simple replace action and all three times a dialog box popped up saying cannot write the .mta file. I don’t know what to do here. I tried changing the the attributes of the whole Mp3Tag folder in appdata as it shows read only but Windows won’t allow it, it just doesn’t change.

Kind of at a loss here.

The filename looks strange with a line break or some other strange character in it - could you try a different name?

It has nothing to do with the filename obviously. And since when are spaces not allowed in filenames, this isn’t DOS based Windows anymore?

I solved it, this is crazy but there was no “actions” folder in the data folder and once I created one it was fine.

Is this a bug in Mp3Tag that it does not create the “actions” folder by default or at least when it is needed?

No. I use Mp3tag for more than 15 years and now and it always created the actions-folder and unpacked 3 standard-actions in it.

This is standard in Windows.
