Hello I would like to put, after the following characters and with acronym understanding a space later, a capital letter: -/[(

What would give:

Front: The dune sea of tatooine / jawa sandcrawler

Later: The dune sea of tatooine / Jawa sandcrawler

For it I make that:

Action: Remplace with regular expression
Field: TITLE
Regular expression: (|.|^)(\w)(?= |.|$)
Remplace matches whith: $1$upper($2)

Action: Remplace with regular expression
Field: TITLE
Regular expression: (\u)
Remplace matches whith: $1$upper($2)

It does not work you can help me? Thank you.

I think that the regular expressions require regular expressions throughout so that $upper does not work.
Use \u
instead.

The scripting function $caps has a field where you can define which characters invokes a capital letter should be written.
You can enter the dot there.

Thank you for your respective answer. I got to work a little code. I could convert this:
In this: [piano] the fringe (eee) - theme e.e.e. [equation]

But to do that: [Piano] the fringe (Eee) - Theme e.E.E. [Equation]

With the code: $replace($caps2($replace(%TITLE%,' . ','.',' - ','-',' & ','&',' / ','/',' ( ','(',' [ ','['),'.-&/(['),'-',' - ','&',' & ','/',' / ')

I need it converted me the first letter capitalized before a point in the above example, like this:
E.E.E.

Instead: e.E.E.

I also put the letter that comes after uppercase hook and a space in the example above, like this:

You forgot the blank in the $caps2 statement:
'.-&/([' should be
' .-&/(['
In general I think that the complete replacing stuff is absolutely superfluous.
$caps2(%TITLE%,' .-&/([')
will do the same job.

You can find the standard functions $caps, $caps2, $caps3 explained in the Mp3tag help manual.
And also the forum offers help pages with examples how to apply Mp3tag scripting functions.
There is also the function $regexp, which may help in some situations.
The function $regexp needs some knowledge how to create a "regular expression", which defines the rule, how the function should work.
Try to divide your "big problem" into smaller problems.
You can collect several needed steps into one action group.
You can use the action "Tag-Tag" to test your formatstrings, the preview displays the result.
