Everytime I do a search from the filter function, I must delete manually the entries to have the filter cleared. This appears to be not practical for heavy use of the filter (I am using it very often). Having a "clear" button would provide for easier use of the filter, going for a new search into the list of tag entries. This would be the same process as clear results in Winamp library, where such "press icon" is availble. Thank you for your support.
You can show/hide the filter (and by this activate/deactivate) it by pressing F3 - not only works like a clear button but also keeps your last setting. Which should be particularly useful if you use the same filter again and again.
So, almost 9 years on......
The filter option could do with a way to clear the list (F3 is not what we are looking for here) and/or keep the last 10 filters used.
Or, my preference, is to have a core list such as;
%artist% MATCHES
%album% MATCHES
%_folderpath% MATCHES etc...
I use it a lot but man, such a pain to wade through the list of old filters.
Of course, there may be a solution already I'm missing, maybe?
You can remove the filter expressions from history, one by one or all with 1 click.
Use the horizontal arrow at the right end of the filter field and scroll to nearly the bottom of the list.
