i am a total new user to MP3Tag and i am wondering is there a way to see if a various artist album has a tag of compilation or not? thanks in advance

you could filter for such files with
%albumartist% IS "Various Artists" AND %compilation% PRESENT

The other way round (various artists=yes but compilation missing):
%albumartist% IS "Various Artists" AND %compilation% MISSING
