Convert Part of a filename to title

I have the following filename: Bruce Springsteen_Born to run.mp3 and I want to use part of the filename for a title and artist how do I do this.

I want Bruce Springsteen only to the artist tag and Born to Run only to the title tag.

Do Convert > Filename - Tag and for the format string put in

%artist%_%title%

You can click on Preview to see if it will work properly.

I don't have the sw loaded on this computer but won't that still give me the .mp3, how to I also exlude that

Nope, with the patterns above the file extension will not be included in either tag.
