Cover Art Size

I scan my LP's and CD covers so that I can add them to the MP3 tag.

Obviously, I don't want to greatly increase the size of my MP3's if the jpg is too large.

I think it would be a good idea to have an option to restrict the size of the image that is imported to the tag, ie downsize the image to 150x150, if its larger, when adding the cover.

What does everyone think?

I would like to see such a feature as well!

Why not use an image editor like xnview or irfanview? Just batch resize all images before you add them to mp3. I use xnview currently and it's very easy (all my cd covers are 300x300)

Because it would be much easier if Mp3Tag would do that recurring job for us? It should do exactly that: Resizing the cover to a specific size. Not more...

I agree.

I want to keep my original cover scans at their scanned size, but I don't want to have to make a smaller version and then import it to the tag. It seems a long way round. It would make more sense to add the cover and MP3Tag to have the option to import "as is" or reduce to the size you specify.
