currently when i run the action group it makes everything lowercase...

In the meantime you can spend some time to read the manual and find out something about ...
... the function "$caps" and "The second parameter is optional and specifies additional characters that triggers upper case."
... the action "Case conversion" and "Words begin after any of".

Found the problem based on a comment in your response... probably doing an upgrade - i deleted by action group under "case conversation".
