Create new genre in Mac version

Longtime Windows version user here who just moved to the Mac version.

In the Windows version, I had no trouble figuring out how to add Baroque as a genre, but I can't seem to see how to do that on the Mac version. I know the feature sets are not identical…can it be done in the Mac version?

Goto Settings (shortcut: command + comma) then General - under Genres - Use Custom Genres - Manage and add there

Use custom genres If enabled, Mp3tag lists custom genres that can be added via the Manage… window. There, you can add additional genres and advice Mp3tag to automatically remember genres entered on the Tag Pane by enabling Collect input.
