Is it possible to create and/or add a button (icon) to the List Panel (1) or Toolbar (2) to perform a sort on a column header (3). My "sort" columns are listed at the end and I don't want to scroll to see it or customize the display every time I want to perform this action.

You can drag & drop every column by holding the column header to whatever position you like.
Yes, but I still need to scroll every time I need it. I change views that fit on screen depending what I want to do. I discovered this program a few days ago and I wish I knew over a decade ago; would have saved me years of manually changing tags. I stopped years ago but decided to start again and I still have years of updates that only took a few days with this program, Thanks for any help that I ask for after searching and reading posts in this community; I'm almost finished with questions--just discovering as I go along.
You can create columns just for sorting purposes: you leave field and value empty and set only the property "Sort by".
You then set this column to almost zero width and place it as one of the first columns. Like that you can easily sort again and again.

You can have more than one column-configuration, save it and load it it again.
