Did the function of the Tag sources change?

hi all,

I could not find an answer to this in the forums or changelogs.

Did the function of the Tag sources change? I tried each source and then chose the globe to the left and get a pop-up asking for artist/album or just text rather than auto searching and bringing up results.

Do you have any ARTIST and ALBUM information in the tags of your selected file?

Not in the ones I am trying to tag, however I tested with several artist files I have successfully tagged in the past and same results. Maybe b/c it has been awhile since I used the program I forgot how it works, but I though choosing a source, then selecting the files and then clicking the globe icon automatically brings up the suggestions without having to enter artist or album. This occurs with Freedb and Discogs (same with musicbrainz but i never use it as usually does to work well so unsure of the typical layout when using it). When choosing "Discogs (quick)" as the source (not the other 4 Discogs choices), has it always prompted to enter just the album?

Mp3Tag can only fill the search-mask with artist and album if these informations are already stored in the tag-fields. If not you have to fill the mask with this information manually.
