Yes, I have the standard Windows Defender running as well as Malwarebytes browser extension. I may also have been playing with BitDefender when it was happening, but have since removed it.
Interesting theory. I'll keep testing it and see if I can reproduce reliably. I will say, however, that I've been testing the Kid3 tagger as an alternative and it was not having the same issue. Its not nearly as robust of a program and the UI / UX is lacking, but it doesn't randomly delete my files either.
