Discnumber folders

Hello All.

First let me begin by saying mp3tag is a fantastic program. I use it all the time and it has simplified my life a LOT. It does a ton of stuff for me in the exact way that I want it to and it keeps getting better all the time.

Now, that being said... I have this one particular issue that I haven't been able to solve and I'm trying again.

I, like many others, would like to be able to get mp3tag to create folders for multi-disc albums structured such that:

Pulse\Pink Floyd - Pulse - Disc 1 - 01 - Shine On You Crazy Diamond.mp3
Pulse\Pink Floyd - Pulse - Disc 2 - 01 - Speak To Me.mp3

becomes

Pulse<b>Disc 1</b>Pink Floyd - Pulse - Disc 1 - 01 - Shine On You Crazy Diamond.mp3
and
Pulse<b>Disc 2</b>Pink Floyd - Pulse - Disc 2 - 01 - Speak To Me.mp3

Now, I have been able to get mp3tag to rename the folder that the files are in based on album name and year using:

Format Value: _Directory
Format String: %year% - %Album%

That is no problem. But when I tell it to further rename the folder to a %Discnumber% based folder, it happily creates the folder but will not move the files to the new location. Hence I end up with:

1995 - Pulse\Disc 1
1995 - Pulse\Disc 2
1995 - Pulse\Pink Floyd - Pulse - Disc 1 - 01 - Shine On You Crazy Diamond.mp3
1995 - Pulse\Pink Floyd - Pulse - Disc 2 - 01 - Speak To Me.mp3

My current action for this is:
Format Value: _Directory
Format String: %_folderpath%\Disc %discnumber%

Is there something I'm missing or is this simply not possible? btw, these are separate actions, one works, the other does not.

Thanks for your help.

This is a common misunderstanding.
If you want to move files, format _filename, not _directory.
Try this:

Format Value: _FILENAME
Format String: %_folderpath%Disc %discnumber%\\%_filename_ext%
