Display Multiple Composers

Hello,

I'm new to this forum and am trying to use mp3tag to organize my music. I use dbPoweramp to rip my CDs to FLAC. I noticed that dbPoweramp places a "\\" between the name of the composers of the songs. When I view the Composers for each individual track, the multiple composers are in the data field. However, when I view the column in mp3tag for all the songs from that artist, only the first name appears. I have replaced the "\\" with "//" and then the mp3tag column displays all the composers in the column. From what I've read on the forum, I think this is because the use of "//" has mp3tag view the entire entry as one long character string. I've attached a file to show how the composer field shows up now.

Is there anyway to have mp3tag show all the composers names in the column when viewing all the songs from an artist? Thanks in advance for any help!

Yes, you have created a "multi-value field".
You can see that all the data is still there if you open the Extended Tags dialogue (press Alt-T) for a file. There you should see more than one COMPOSER field.

You can re-join these fields with an action: https://docs.mp3tag.de/actions/merge-duplicate-fields

Added edit: you can create a column with the VALUE $meta(%composer% - this should show all composers as comma separated list, see https://docs.mp3tag.de/scripting/#metadata-functions)
